Dear All,
the German Parliament has refused my petition „Repealing the limitation period for crimes of sexual abuse in civil law“ . That is why I have made an appeal to the European Court of Human Rights against the Federal republic of Germany, as this violates the European Human Rights Convention.
My story is one of many.
I was sexually abused.
I have kept silent out of angst, shame and feelings of guilt.
In the Federal Republic of Germany crimes of sexual abuse become time-barred.
That is how offenders are protected and victims have to remain silent.
Usually, I am not engaged in politics that is why I do need your support!
Some push to keep the status quo.
If they succeed more vicitims need to keep silent.
